Omaha High/Low

A very interesting kind of Omaha is Omaha High/Low. The main difference is that you can win even if you have not got the best cards. The rules of appointing the winner are quite complicated and this version of poker is recommended to the players with a good command of rules of Texas Holdem or Omaha.

Omaha Hogh/Low is a game where the stake is divided when we appointing the winner. It means that there is a possibility to create the strongest and the weakest order. Half of the kitty is for the player who had the highest order and the other half goes to the player with the lowest . If there is no low order then the highest one takes it all. Similiar to the Omaha Poker the player must use two cards from the hand and three from the table. You are allowed to use two different cards for high and low order.

The strongest order is established exactly with the same rules like in Maha – all the hierarchy is established based on the standard chart of hierarchy and orders in poker. Similiar to Omaha the player must use two his own cards and three the open ones on the table.

Creating the low order is more complicated. The player has to use two his own cards and three open cards from the table. The lowest order must have 8 or lower, no pairs. What is important, the strit or colour do not count to the lowest order, apart from the orer 5-4-3-2-A, which is the best lowest order. This is strit for the highest order as well. That is why you can win with this order all the stake.
